I've been a board member of MBDC of CA for four years. Rex, my herding mix with attention problems, has earned his MB-RE, MB-CD and MB-Ch. and also does agility. Since the National Board accepted our Versatility Titling recommendations a year ago, I want to provide more opportunities for our members to enjoy other activities with their mixed breed dogs.
Lloyda French
Vice-President
I have been an active member of the MBDC for quite a few years. The MBDC has introduced me to many activities I enjoy with all my dogs including agility, rally obedience, and regular obedience. Whether actively competing or just having fun, I love being a part of the club. Rosie, Diego and Red-dog all vote for the Spring Fling as one of their favorite events each year. I have enjoyed being able to contribute to the club by participating on the board. I work with the board to represent the many of us who want to have our dogs respected and welcomed in all venues. Plus – it’s such a pleasure to give back to an organization that has made such a difference in my life.
Ann Dahlin
Treasurer
I became a board member to help keep our club operating and growing. Without this club, earning many titles and awards in California would be very inconvenient at best or too impractical to participate at all. I want to ensure that the services provided by the Mixed Breed Dog Club continue.

I got started with the MBDC of CA when I was looking for a way to compete with my mixed-breed dog in obedience (back before Rally came on the scene). I joined the club in 2004 and have been a board member since 2005 (and was Secretary for one year in there). I have two dogs who I show in MBDCA Obedience and Rally: Pablo (Pablo Angus Bushong MB-UD MB-RAE MB-VX5 CGC), a Lab-something mix and Penny (FuzzyLogic's A Penny Saved MB-CDX MB-RE MB-VX5 CGC), a Shepherd-y mix. I enjoy serving on the board, as it lets me be more involved with the Club and help find ways to hold more events and reach more prospective members. In the past, for instance, I helped work on the MBDCA Versatility title to encourage members to explore different activities with their dogs.
